Moving from CourtReserve
§ Why clubs switch

Four reasons clubs move to Memberley.

Court and field clubs fit naturally
Courts, fields, lanes, rooms, and other facilities are first-class bookable resources in Memberley. Layer in memberships, classes, events, payments, and communications without making your club work around a court-only operating model.
Programming and scheduling stay connected
A class or event can accept public and member registrations, collect a fee per class, manage capacity, and reserve every required facility block. Message the exact attendee list without exporting it somewhere else.
Flat-priced comms, not metered
CourtReserve meters broadcasts at 500 texts and 5,000 marketing emails a month, then you pay per bundle. Memberley's Communications module is $150/yr flat with 1,000 SMS a month included and unlimited email campaigns.
Room to grow beyond reservations
Start with the modules your club needs today, then add front-desk check-in, point of sale, household memberships, waivers, branded portals, and reporting without migrating to another platform later.
§ Classes & events

Registration, payment, and every court block—one offering.

Build a clinic, camp, class, league, or one-off event around the people attending it—not around a collection of disconnected reservations.

Open registration
Let members and guests register through the same offering, with the eligibility rules you choose.
Collect every fee
Charge once for the full offering or collect a per-class or per-event registration fee online.
Fill every opening
Capacity limits create an automatic waitlist, keeping oversubscribed classes and events organized.
Message the right people
Send updates directly to registrants and attendees instead of rebuilding a list for every announcement.
Keep programming in motion
Seasonal clubs can schedule classes and events before opening day, after closing day, or across seasons.

Credit where due

CourtReserve's clearest advantage is its exclusive focus on tennis and racquet clubs, which may make it a fit for organizations planning specialized leagues and championships. Memberley is the more flexible choice for clubs that want modern facility scheduling connected to memberships, paid programming, built-in email and SMS, and the operational modules they may need next.

§ How feedback gets handled

We counted every idea on CourtReserve's board.

CourtReserve runs its roadmap in public at feedback.courtreserve.com, which is genuinely to their credit — it means anyone can check the numbers below. We read all 2,028 ideas on it. This is what club owners are waiting on.

2,028
ideas submitted

Going back to August 2018, all public on their board.

549
never got a reply or a status

27% of the board. No comment from anyone, no status from the product team. 424 of them are past 90 days.

68%
of the last year is untriaged

Of 733 ideas submitted in the last 12 months, 497 still carry no status at all.

98%
past CourtReserve's own deadline

Their board says ideas sit in “Waiting on Votes” for 90 days. 533 of 546 have been there longer — a median of 401 days.

Where those 2,028 ideas sit today

Nearly a third have never been triaged at all. Another quarter are parked in a 90-day voting window that has, in practice, lasted more than a year. Roughly one idea in six has actually shipped.

The single most-voted idea on the board — 282 votes, submitted in 2018 — has been marked “Accepted for Future Development” since July 2020. Six years accepted, still not built.

* All figures from a full read of the public board at feedback.courtreserve.com on August 17, 2026. Time in status is measured from each idea's dated status change, not its submission date. Statuses reflect what CourtReserve's board reported on that date; check the board for current status before relying on it.

§ How we build

A roadmap is a promise, not a status label.

Every feature on this page shipped because a club asked for it. That is the whole difference: your request is the roadmap, not an entry in a queue behind a thousand others.

01
Twenty years of shipping, not guessing

The people building Memberley have spent 20+ years shipping production software — the kind that has to be right the first time because real money and real members depend on it. That experience is why the feature list on this page already exists instead of sitting on a board.

02
A request reaches the person who writes the code

There is no triage queue between you and the roadmap. When a club tells us something is broken or missing, it goes straight to the people who can fix it — which is how features get measured in days and weeks instead of status labels.

03
Built correctly the first time

Fast is only worth anything if it holds up. Dues, payments, rosters, and check-ins are the club's system of record, so we build them to be correct, auditable, and exportable — not shipped quickly and patched later.

§ Beyond reservations

Grow the operation without starting over.

Start with facilities, memberships, classes, and events. Add the front desk, point of sale, household billing, waivers, and branded experiences when your club is ready.

Guest-pass auto-charge
Passes deducted at the gate and charged automatically when a member runs out.
Front-desk check-in
Members scan in at the desk or gate — no kiosk hardware and no app install required.
Family & household accounts
Link a household under one roof and keep billing and guest passes straight.
Waivers & documents
E-sign reusable waiver templates and share a document library, exportable as signed PDFs.
QuickBooks & Mailchimp
Native sync of dues and members into the accounting and email tools you already use.
Embedded white-label portal
Drop the full member portal into your own website, themed to your colors, fonts, and logo.
Point of sale & inventory
Sell merchandise, equipment, snacks, or drop-in items and keep daily sales tied to the same operation.
ACH & installment plans
Members pay dues by bank transfer or on a payment plan, with autopay and automatic late fees built in.
§ FAQ

Switching questions, answered.

Is Memberley a good CourtReserve alternative?
It depends on what you run. CourtReserve's court scheduling is deep and purpose-built for tennis, pickleball, and padel operations. Memberley is a strong fit for court and field clubs that want reservations alongside memberships, paid classes and events, attendee communications, and room to add front-desk or point-of-sale operations as they grow.
How does pricing compare to CourtReserve?
CourtReserve publishes plans from $159/month on annual billing for up to 8 courts, billed year-round. Memberley starts at $0/yr with unlimited members and a 3% payment fee — or a $500/yr Community plan with zero payment fees — plus flat-priced add-on modules ($100–$250/yr) you enable only if you need them, free for your entire first year.
Are texts and emails metered?
Not with Memberley. The Communications module is $150/yr flat and includes 1,000 SMS a month with unlimited email campaigns; if you need more texts in a busy month, top-ups are available in 1,000-message packs. CourtReserve's published plans meter broadcasts at 500 texts and 5,000 marketing emails a month, then charge per bundle.
Can we still run court reservations on Memberley?
Yes. The Facilities & Reservations module covers courts, fields, lanes, and rooms with operating hours, booking slots, approvals, and conflict checks. One-click block scheduling can reserve the same facility for every occurrence of a recurring class or event.
Can guests register and pay for classes or events?
Yes. Offer registration to members, guests, or both; charge for the full offering or per class; automatically waitlist people when capacity is reached; and send communications to the exact registrant or attendee list.
Can a seasonal club run programs outside its normal season?
Yes. Classes and events can run before, during, or after your club's membership season. Their registration dates, schedules, payments, communications, and facility reservations are not limited by the season's opening and closing dates.
Do you offer white-label branding?
Yes. The Branded Site & Embed module ($100/yr) applies your logo, colors, and typography across the member portal, sign-in pages, and emails, and lets you embed the portal in the website you already have — no setup fee and no annual contract.
How quickly does CourtReserve act on customer feature requests?
You can measure it yourself — CourtReserve runs a public idea board at feedback.courtreserve.com. As of August 17, 2026 it held 2,028 ideas. 549 of them (27%) had never received a reply or been given a status, and of the 733 submitted in the previous 12 months, 497 still carried no status at all. The board's own rules say an idea sits in "Waiting on Votes" for 90 days; 533 of the 546 ideas in that status had been there longer, a median of 401 days. Ideas marked "Accepted for Future Development" had been waiting a median of 1.8 years, and the top-voted idea on the entire board has been accepted-but-unbuilt since July 2020.
Do you work with Northern Virginia clubs?
Yes — Memberley is based in Northern Virginia and we'll meet your board in person to walk through setup and migration. Migration is free: send us your current roster and we'll have you live before next season.
